Downer EDi Works Ltd are currently contracted to Manukau Parks to provide sports park maintenance and general parks maintenance services throughout the city. This includes the maintenance of:

• Playing surfaces
• Playgrounds
• Rubbish collection
• Grass mowing

Downer EDi Works Ltd is Manukau's largest parks contractor.

City Parks Services provide maintenance services for all gardens on both parks and streets within Manukau. They also maintain a number of our civic parks in their entirety such as the Manukau Square.

Tree maintenance for all council parks and streets are performed by Asplundh Ltd. The majority of trees within Manukau city are maintained on a three year cycle.

Civic Contractors Ltd are our toilet cleaning contractor. They maintain 92 toilet blocks across the park network and are mainly located at beaches and sports parks.

Hard Surface Maintenance Ltd provides maintenance services on all of our carparks and accessways. The repair of potholes and marking of painted lines are two examples of tasks they undertake for Manukau Parks.
