The SNUG HOMES project Counties Manukau has funding available to help families get prepared for the cold, damp winter months ahead.
The health and housing initiative can provide a comprehensive health assessment of homes and offers free insulation to Counties Manukau families who meet the following criteria:
- Live in Counties Manukau
- Have a child aged 14 years and under or anyone over 65 years living in your household
- Your home must have been built before 1 January 2000
- Have a Community Services card or are on a low income and are eligible for one
- Own your own home or rent privately (not a Housing New Zealand tenant)
