Kia ora and welcome to Manukau.

We are New Zealand's third largest city and home to over 165 different ethnic groups.

In our city there are as many ways of saying 'Welcome' as there are places where you will be made to feel at home.

Council services

Here is a list of some of the facilities and services Manukau City Council has to offer.

Directory of Services for Migrants and Refugees

The Manukau Directory of Services for Migrants and Refugees (PDF 906kb) is a useful booklet containing details of organisations that provide services to migrants and refugees living in Manukau.

New Settlers' Policy and Action Plan

Council developed the New Settlers' Policy and Action Plan in 2003. This provides a framework for developing council services, and a programme of action that responds to the needs and priorities of Manukau's migrant and refugee communities.
