Littering is a major issue for Manukau and the Auckland region. It makes our streets and beautiful environment look bad, costs ratepayers millions of dollars every year and pollutes our waterways.
Be a Tidy Kiwi encourages you to take personal responsibility for littering in the region. Be A Tidy Kiwi is an initiative of Manukau City Council and other Auckland councils.
We want you, your family and friends to pledge to Be Tidy Kiwis. It’s as simple as making sure you put all your rubbish in the bin and encouraging others to do the same.
