Manukau Libraries will launch Footprints, a new photographic heritage resource, on 16 August 2010. 

Footprints is a database of more than 2500 historical photographs and other images relating to the south Auckland and Counties Manukau area.  It draws upon the collections of the Manukau Research Library, including back files of the Manukau Courier and related titles, courtesy of Fairfax media. It also includes contributions from Pukekohe Library and the Beachlands-Maraetai, Clevedon, Howick, Mangere, Manurewa and Papatoetoe historical societies.
