Labour Weekend, TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre

Full Throttle is back again for Labour Weekend 2010. More than 25,000 people came last year to check out a huge range of vehicles in action and on show.

Full Throttle runs from Saturday 23 to Monday 25 October. It will be held at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre, with vehicles on show inside and action outside on the grass and tarmac.

Tens of millions of dollars worth of vehicles will be in action and on show, with people from around the Auckland region expected to attend.

Full Throttle has a strong emphasis on road safety - encouraging street racers to take it off the road and instead take part in professionally organised events.

Yester-year, Classic and Older Iron

Featuring the NZ Mustang Convention, 150 Mustangs will fill the Telstra Pacific Events Centre. Hot rod's muscle cars, restored and collectors’ vehicles including military vehicles will be a feature of this day. The day will end with a drive-in movie.

Full Throttle Sunday 24 October
4 & Rotary Supershow

Featuring a drift car battle, NZ Show Car Championship, DB Drag Racing sound off, drag cars, mini-truck low rider and drift car displays. There will also be the NZ remote control car championship, a motocross exhibition and special guest cars on a dirt track.

Full Throttle Monday 25 October
Dunlop Targa Rally Preview

One of the main features is the Targa Rally - known as the 'ultimate road race'.; People coming to Full Throttle can see $25 million plus of Targa cars in action and up close before watching the rally start on Tuesday morning. People can also check out the action packed motokana , as well as show and shine of some fantastic looking iron. A key focus of the Monday is creating a family day that includes entertainment for the entire family.
