The sale and supply of liquor to the public requires a licence under the 
Sale of Liquor Act 1989.
Liquor licences are issued by the District Licensing Authority in accordance with the requirements, criteria and regulations set out in the act.
A licence cannot be transferred from one person to another, or from one premise to another.
