Councillors are available to listen to residents' concerns and comments - you can find their contact details here or by phoning council on 09 263 7100.

Manukau City Council has 17 councillors elected by the residents in the seven wards of the city. The city wards are Otara, Mangere, Manurewa, Pakuranga, Howick, Botany/Clevedon and Papatoetoe. The Mayor is elected by voters from across the whole city.

There are eight elected community boards in the city - whose boundaries currently coincide with ward boundaries. Each board meets once a month in its community, and deals with local concerns.

All community board, committee and council meetings are open to the public.
